I was asked to be a guest speaker by Kinder Pocock at their supercharge your cashflow event in Hereford, to share some motivation and positivity in a jammed packed line-up.

Kinder Pocock is a fantastic accountancy practice based in Hereford, the team is led by the amazing Sharon Pocock.

Their company values are be curious, share knowledge, do the right thing, act with happiness and love and keep it simple really resonate with me and it was my pleasure to join them as a guest speaker at their SuperCharge Your Cashflow event in Herefordshire.

Colita Dainton the Success Coach Speaking Opportunity

I joined a fantastic lineup of guest speakers all with the aim of helping small business owners.  Helping with cash flow, technology, marketing, invoicing, free banking and the list carries on.

The lineup included David from Herefordshire Mind who shared the importance of self-care and recognising how a small businesses cash flow can affect mental wellbeing.

We also heard from Chris from The DM Lab, who gave a fascinating insight into how digital marketing works especially when you put the customer at the heart of everything you do within your business.

Kinder Pocock are advocates of Xero and cloud accounting and Chaser (an app that helps you get your invoices paid quicker) and IZettle (Making card payments simple) representatives shared how you can use apps to help your small business get paid quickly and streamline your processes.

We also met Capitalise and Starling Bank who explored funding and online banking options.  If you want to see the full line up of the day, take a look at the SuperCharge Your Cashflow Blog.

My job was to celebrate the success of the audience and remind them that “If you believe you can, or you believe you can’t, you’re right.”

To spread a little positivity and encouragement.

To remind everyone that even on the darkest days, you are doing the best with the resources you have.

Take a moment to reflect on the journey so far and see how far you have come.

According to startups.co.uk there are 211,000 small businesses in the UK.

As a small business owner everything stops with you and you are juggling many balls.  Quite often we don’t take time to work on the business as we are so focused on working in and the day to day running of the business.  This event was a great opportunity to work realise you are not alone and pick up some great tips and free banking – result!

A big thank you goes to Sharon and her team, It was an inspirational event and my pleasure to be asked to join the event and be a guest speaker.

If you need a super cool accountant check her out and if you need a cheerleader or some positivity get in touch with me 🙂
